A edição 250 da Nintendo Power surpreendeu a todos ao revelar que o Mega Man 10 será lançado para em breve o Wii, o que é uma ótima notícia afinal muita gente ficou na dúvida se o Mega Man 9 seria um sucesso principalmente por manter aquele visual de jogo de NES. Ele será vendido apenas por download e assim como o jogo anterior é muito provável que a Capcom lance o Mega Man 10 também para o Playstation 3 e Xbox 360, mas é claro que não seria a Nintendo Power que daria essa notícia.
Por enquanto sabemos muito pouco sobre o jogo, ele vai manter o visual de jogo de 8 bits, vai ter um modo Easy para não assustar que não está acostumado com o Mega Man, e também terá três personagens jogáveis: o Mega Man (é claro), Proto Man e mais um personagem que por enquanto não foi revelado.
Na história do jogo o Mega Man precisa encontrar a cura para o vírus Robotenza, que deixa os robôs infectados incontroláveis. Imagino que quem deva ter criado o vírus é o Dr. Willy, afinal sempre é ele...

» Both Rockman and Blues will be playable. Forte is also said to be playable through DLC.
» The story goes like this: Robots are infected by a virus known as "Robotenza" that causes robots to overheat and go crazy. Roll catches that virus too. It's up to Rockman and gang to look for the vaccine-making device and ask Wily for help (Wily seems to have nothing to do with it, but you never know). The 8 robot masters are each holding a piece of the cure.
» Capcom's famed and well-known Yashichi icon from the first Rockman game (and many other Capcom games) will show up in this game too, and it will be an item that refills your life and weapon energy to the max!
» The shop and leaderboard features from Rockman 9 will be showing up in this game too.
» There will be difficulties to pick: Easy, Normal and Hard.
» Easy will be the same as Rockman 2's English Normal difficulty.
» Co-Op 2-Player Mode has also been rumored.
» No Female Robot Masters in this game.
The following stages has been revealed:
» A computer-themed stage with mouse pointer enemies that will draw boxes which they throw at you, and there's also color-changing Yoku Blocks, power treadmills and a couple of other things.
» A lava stage that's vertically oriented, with lava pools, block-shaped enemies that can duplicate themselves, not to mention conveyor belts that will push you down to an early grave.
» An ice stage, filled with snowmen with exploding heads and ice blocks that will break if you shot or touch them.
» A stadium stage that will feature enemies wearing different types of sports gear, including baseball-throwing robots and soccer ball platforms that rise when you shoot them, plus a soccer goal mini-boss who will act as a goalie.
» A desert stage that will feature sandstorms that will make it hard for the player to see things, and it will push you into spikes and/or walls. There will be safe spots where you can hide from the sandstorm though. This is said to be one of the toughest obstacles in the game.
» A sewer stage filled with slug-like Hard Hats (Mettools).
The only robot master revealed so far is Sheep Man and Commando Man:
» Sheep Man turns into 4 clouds that flies above you and will attack with lightning.
» The weapon you get from Sheep Man is Thunder Wool, that shoots lightning.
